Southwest Respect® Turkey Burgers
Here at Respect®we are bringing the heat with our newest southwest turkey burger recipe! So fire up the grill, grab some Respect® turkey burgers, and prepare you taste buds for a spicy ride!
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 Large Onion (thinly sliced)
- 2 Poblano Peppers (seeded and thinly sliced)
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1/2 tsp Freshly Ground Pepper
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 4 Respect® Antibiotic-Free Turkey Burgers
- 4 Brioche Hamburger Buns
- Lettuce or Spinach Leaves
Heat a sauté pan over medium heat. Once hot pour in oil and let heat up.
Add in garlic and onions. Let cook for about 5 minutes then toss in poblano peppers and season with salt, pepper and chili powder. Let cook for another 5 minutes.
Reduce temperature to low.
Heat grill to medium-high. Lightly grease grates.
Grill turkey burgers for 4 minutes per side.
Add buns to the grill to toast.
To create your southwest turkey burger, add a layer of lettuce or spinach leaves to the bottom bun. Top with the burger then onions and peppers. Cover and enjoy!
