WHY DID WE CHOOSE IT?

Meat lovers agree that Wagyu is the king of kings. Why? The Wagyu breed has a heritage from Japan of producing greater marbling than other beef breeds. Wagyu beef consistently grades at prime due to its marbling. As a result, it has a distinctive buttery taste making it world-renowned and coveted by beef connoisseurs.  Marbling is the soft intramuscular fat between meat fibers which adds to the quality of the beef. It’s very soft and easily melts when cooked, producing a more tender texture and flavorful result. Since the 1970’s, Wagyu raised in the United States has been distributed and served as steaks, roasts, and burgers in some of the finest American restaurants.  At Respect Foods, we think the best food should be available to everyone, so we set out to bring Wagyu WOW! to the dinner table in American homes.  One bite and you know why we say, WOW!  A second bite and you wonder where Wagyu has been all your life.
